Private Morocco Desert Tour From Marrakech

Day 1 :  Marrakech-Zagora

The Departure from Marrakech at 7:00 am crossing the high Atlas Mountains to reach the desert region, we then have a visit to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and the Drâa valley.

We then have a 2 hours Camel trek from Zagora to reach our desert camp for the night. Once we arrive, we spend time socialising with other guests and enjoy a local dinner around the fireside. All bedding is included at the camp.

Day 2 : Zagora-Merzouga

After an early Berber breakfast, we take a two hour camel ride at sunrise to reach Zagora and our transport.. We then drive along the route towards Merzouga via Tansikht and Tazarine.

When we reach Merzouga, we have a 1 and half hour camel trek to reach the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, and our desert camp for the night. Again, all bedding is supplied at the desert camp and we have plenty of time to enjoy the fire.

Day 3 : Merzouga –Dades gorges

After a traditional Berber breakfast we return to our transport at Merzouga on Camels. We then drive from Merzouga and take in visits of the Todra Gorges and the Dadés Gorge.

A Moroccan dinner and evening at a lovely small hotel with beautiful views of the valley is our destination for our overnight stay at the Dades Valley.

Day 4 : Dades gorges-Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive from the Dadés Gorges with a visit to the valley of the thousand Kasbahs. Later, we make our return to Marrakech across the Atlas Mountains, reaching Marrakech at around 17:00 or 18:00hrs.
